Marie Ulmer turned A Century old on August 31st 2017. She'll be 101 this year. Ms. Ulmer is a friend and artist I have been photographing for 10 years. At 97 she left the home where she had lived in her entire life to relocate to an assisted living facility. She is well taken care of and has everything she needs. She still makes art everyday.
Before her house was sold I was able to rescue a sizable portion of her work. She never threw anything away so as one would imagine, I have a storage unit filled with her art and I've been parting with some work for the last year.
In 2017 I donated 100 percent to rescues for animals displaced by natural disasters. This year I will continue to do the same thing.
For $60 I'll send you a random portrait, from one of those images below, and a stack of her work. I have so much and would love it to be in a home rather than having most of it in a storage. You may get a grab bag with pieces from 2001, 1983, or 1962...they might be doodles, watercolors, prints, collage or even a piece of jewelry. Trust that it will be like your birthday when that envelope arrives. And, as always there will be a little story enclosed.
